Orange County Health Inspector James Scales made the following inspections on area businesses from Sept. 1-15:

First Presbyterian Soup Kitchen, 902 Green Ave., Orange - No violations, no score

Star Stop #3, 1402 16th St., Orange - Store name and address are needed on all bags of ice sold at store; no hot water was found inside restroom; ice scoop laying on top of box; floors inside the storage rooms need to be cleaned of old dirt; need to replace missing ceiling tiles inside storage room; drinks need to be stored off the floors. Score - 89

McDonald's #12561, Hwy. 62, McLewis - Several flies found throughout; floors, ceilings and equipment needs to be cleaned of old foods; mold/slime found at drink dispensers; more general cleaning is needed throughout restaurant; need to regret floor tiles throughout. Score - 94

Little Flock Daycare, 8257 N. Hwy. 87, Little Cypress - Score - 100

Cardinal Dollar Express, 1160 Texas Ave., Bridge City - Score - 100

El Mexicano Meat Market, 2455 Texas Ave. - Need to label and date all foods. Score - 96

Waffle House #523, Opening new building, preening inspection - No score

Sun Wok #2 Chinese Food, 2429 Texas Ave., Bridge City - Eggrolls found at unsafe temperatures; employee drink inside cooler; label/date all foods in coolers/freezers; need to cover all foods in freezers/coolers; defrosting beef/shrimp inside buckets of water; towels needed at the hand washing station; ants and roach feces and spider webs found inside kitchen/dining room; floors/walls/inside and outside of storage containers need to be cleaned more daily; cleaning needed to be done throughout; lights not working, needs repair; need to contact pest management. Score - 70

Cakes Plus, 7763 Lamurel Willey Rd., Mauriceville, Storage shelves need to be cleaned of old food/dirt. Score - 97

Moz Grill/Crawdads, 12099 FM 1442, Orange - Several flies and gnats found throughout; area around fryers/grill needs to be cleaned of old foods; more general cleaning needed throughout; need to clean and repair air vents throughout and need to repair/replace cutting boards. Score - 94

Crawdad's #7 Store, Need to date all sandwiches inside coolers; several gnats found at the drink stations; mold found on drink dispensers and floor inside walk-in cooler needs to be cleaned. Score - 90

Daily Donuts, 2580 Texas Ave., Bridge City - Pre-opening inspection, no score

Vidor Superette #1, 5645 N. Main St., Vidor - Store name and address are needed on all bags of ice sold at store; need to date all sandwiches inside coolers. Score - 96

Star Stop #2, 100 W. Freeway, Vidor, Pulled several expired(2014/2015) foods from shelves; storage shelves need to be cleaned of dust/dirt. Score - 93

Dairy Queen, 780 N. Main St., Vidor - Air vents dripping water above fry station inside kitchen area, need to repair. Score - 96

Sonic Drive Inn #1214, 2805 MacArthur Dr., Orange - Area around fryers/grill/hot hold station needs to be cleaned of old grease. Score - 97

Mount Sinai Baptist Church Soup Kitchen, 1113 N. 2nd St., No violations, no score

Robert's Steakhouse, 3720 W. Park Ave., Orange Pipes at all sinks inside wash room are dripping water' water sitting on the floor under and around sinks, all need to be repaired; vents above fryers/grill and all areas near fryers need to be cleaned of old grease; inside of reach in coolers and freezers need to be cleaned of old foods. Score - 94
