The WOSMS Stallions traveled to Hamshire-Fannett Thursday night and brought home three wins. The combined B team kicked off the night winning by a score of 6-0 thanks to a touchdown from Kaiden Berry. The defense was stingy all night long with Davion Coleman recovering a fumble and Armani Wallace intercepting a pass from the Short Horns.
The 7A team jumped out to an early lead and never looked back winning 22-6. Jerren Terrell connected with Patrick Mickey for a touchdown pass and Andre Thomas rushed for two td's. Kylan Cooper and Terrell were each successful on two point conversions. The Stallions kept the pressure on HF all night with a fumble recovery by Jacob Dominguez, interception by Darryl Bowens and a blocked punt by Kylan Cooper.
The 8A team went into half tied at 0, but got things going in the second half with two touchdowns from Da'vion Riggs to win the game 12-6. The 8A kept the streak going creating two turnovers as well. Tyrone Wilson and Riggs each had an interception to anchor the D. The Stallions will host Newton for their Pink Out game onTuesday, Sept. 29 with kickoff at 5:00pm.
