Thursday, Oct. 29, at 4:19PM, officers from the Orange Police Narcotics Division, along with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division and the Texas Rangers, executed a search warrant at 314 Bridal Wreath in Orange.
Officers received information that the residents of the home were involved in methamphetamine distribution, and had solicited subjects to commit a murder for hire. An investigation was conducted and a search warrant for the residence was obtained, along with arrest warrants for 44 year old Samuel Clark McClellan and 32 year old Ann Marie Gilbeaux.
Both subjects were present at the residence and were taken into custody. During the search of the residence, officers found and seized approximately 2 ½ ounces of methamphetamine and 2 ounces of cocaine, along with two rifles and two handguns. Both subjects were charged with criminal solicitation, a first degree felony and two counts of possession of a controlled substance, a second degree felony each.
