The week of March 28, Bridge City Middle School 7th and 8th grade students took the Reading and/or Math State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR) test. Overall, 93 percent of the students passed the Reading test, with 90 percent passing the Math test.
Those scoring advanced on the Reading test were: Austin Anderson, Cameron Ball, Nicholas Barton, Caden Carpenter, Taylor Clark, Camren Dionne, Jaycee Donahey, Hayley Dreymala, Raymond Epperly, Sierra Glass, Christian Gonzales, Gavyn Hester, Matthew Jones, Lane Knapp, Kaitlyn Lawrence, Gracie Martin, David McKeever, Alexis Mendez, Colin Minter, Lexie Murty, Chaynee Podnewich, Erin Ramsey, Emily Ranolls, Megan Rappelet, Natilee Reed, Arthur Ridley, Bailey Roy, Ramiro Segovia, Brendin Shomo, Keagan Smith, Sadie Stone, Austin Stuart, Kamri Swares, Brianna Taylor and Jonah Watts.
Advanced math scores were earned by: Thomas Bunch, Taylor Clark, Bryson Constance, Waverlee Cooper, Camren Dionee, Nathan Dominguez, Jaycee Donahey, Raymond Epperly, Josh Fuselier, Carly Garrett, Thien Ho, Kesler Jaetzold, Jaylen Jones, Kaitlyn Lawrence, Jaxon Luna, Graciela Lyons, Dessiree Matte, Macy Mouton, Kian Perry, Jake Potter, Austin Richardson, Zachary Schexnider, Austin Stuart and Brianna Taylor.
