Sarah is the daughter of Amy and Troy Kidder.
She has a GPA of 4.58 and is ranked 7 of 156.
Sarah’s awards and honors include:
Michelle Huff, Family and Consumer Science teacher and Varsity Cheer Coach, said, “Sarah is such a hard worker with a funny personality! She is going to be a very successful person and I have absolutely loved having her in class! So proud of her.”
Candice Jenkins, Spanish Instructor, said, “I have had the pleasure of teaching Sarah twice during her years at Bridge City High School.
Once as a freshman and again this year as a senior.
In addition, she has been a member of the Spanish Club for the past four years, so I have been able to get to know her through this extra-curricular activity as well.
Throughout her time at BCHS, she has been an excellent student as well as an outstanding individual.
She always gives 100% effort in her studies and is always kind to others.
She is a great role model for younger students.
I am confident that she will go on to do very well, not only academically, but personally as well.
I have no doubt she will do great things as she moves forward into the next chapter of life.”
Faye Parish, Math Instructor, said, “Sarah Kidder was my student in Honors Pre-Calculus and is currently my student in College Algebra. She is a wonderful student. College Algebra is a difficult class that requires dedication, determination, and attention to detail. Sarah has all of those qualities. She is consistently at the top of the class. Sarah is a delightful young lady, well-mannered, polite, and kind to others. Anything you ask of Sarah she does with a smile. She is a true joy to have as a student.”
Diane Grooters, English Instructor, said, “Sarah is in my LEAP class through which she will receive two semesters of college credit. Although she is quiet and unassuming, her writing reveals a young woman of integrity, strength, commitment, compassion, and motivation. Just when I think I am prepared for excellence, Sarah amazes me yet another time, surpassing my expectations and setting her own sites continually higher.”
When asked about her plans after graduation, Sarah said, “My future objectives are to attend McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana where I plan to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Then, I hope to attend the University of Texas Medical School at Houston to further my education and become a CRNA, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.”
