SharLee West

SharLee West, age 70, passed away with her loving family by her side on Monday, June 6, 2016 at her home in Orange, Texas. Services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 10, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Orange with Bishop Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Dorman Funeral Home.

SharLee was born in Orange, Texas on July 13, 1945 to the late I.C. "Mike" Manshack and Verlon McSwain Manshack. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Orange. At the church she served as Nursery Leader, the Service Leader, and many other callings. She was always making meals for others. She loved sending cards and hand-written letters to family and friends. She also loved doing genealogy. SharLee had a love for animals and enjoyed spoiling her sweet "grand-dogs".

She was preceded in death by her parents and her two nephews, Jason Vincent and Lance Corporal Shane Goldman.

She is survived by her husband Glenn West of Orange, TX. One son, Glenn Michael "Mike" West and his wife Patrice of Orange, TX and a daughter, Kimberly West of Orange, TX. Two brothers, Michael G. Manshack and his wife Cathy of Orange, TX and Bobby R. Manshack and his wife Jan of Orange, TX. Three sisters; Shirley Cochran of Orange, TX, Judy Allen and her husband Ricky of Orange, TX and Cammie Vincent and her husband T-Ray of Orange, TX. Two beautiful grandchildren, Noah Michael West and Amy Piper BriAnne West, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Manshack, Robert Manshack, Jonathan Manshack and Bryan Cochran.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Allen, Lance Cochran, Matt Manshack, Bradley Manshack, Paul Watkins, Jason Lilyquist, Wesley West and Lance West.
