American rock band the Goo Goo Dolls are including the Golden Triangle in its fall tour plans.
The Goo Goo Dolls are headed to Southeast Texas this fall as the band will perform on Sunday, Dec. 4, at the Jefferson Theatre in downtown Beaumont. Tickets are $49-$79 each and go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 19, at all Ticketmaster outlets, including the Beaumont Civic Center box office, HEB Plus on Dowlen Road in Beaumont, online at http://www.ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 800-745-3000.
The band, which features John Rzeznik, on vocals and guitar, and Robby Takac, on vocals and bass, is touring in support of its 11th studio album, "Boxes," which was released in May of 2016 on Warner Bros. The record debuted at number 27 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart and features the single "So Alive," which reached number 13 on the Billboard Adult Top 40 chart, as well as singles "The Pin" and "Reverse."
The Goo Goo Dolls formed in New York in 1986 and is best known for hit songs such as "Name," "Naked," "Iris," "Slide," "Give a Little Bit," "Here is Gone," "Black Balloon" and many others.
Over the course of the band's four decade career, the Goo Goo Dolls have charted 19 Top 10 singles while selling more than 12 million albums.
