Evelyn Lucille Busby Roberts, 77, Silsbee

Evelyn Lucille Busby Roberts, 77, of Silsbee, died Sunday, December 11, 2016. She was born on December 1, 1939, in Port Arthur, to Lavelle Teel Busby and J.C. Busby.

Survivors include her children, Jay Richard Roberts and his wife, Ellen of Austin and Kristi Lynn Gray and her husband, Scott, of Silsbee; grandchildren, Lauren Roberts, Daniel Roberts, and Natalie Roberts; and sisters, Kay Caraway and her husband, Billy, of Silsbee; Vicki Byrom and her husband, James, of Buna; and Vada Fitzgerald of Evadale. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Ray Roberts; brother, Kenneth "Buzz" Busby; and sisters, Lena and Jane Busby.

Mrs. Roberts’ committal was handled by Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont. A family gathering will be held at a later date
