Stark Cultural Venues Announce Closures and Cancellations

When: Thursday, June 22, 2017

Where: Stark Museum of Art - 712 Green Avenue, Orange, TX

The W.H. Stark House & Carriage House - 610 Main Avenue, Orange, TX

Shangri La Gardens - 2111 West Park Avenue, Orange, TX

Lutcher Theater - 707 Main Avenue, Orange, TX

Why: Due to impending inclement weather, the Stark Cultural Venues will be

closed to the public.

Details: For the safety of the public and staff, the decision has been made to close

all venues Thursday, June 22, 2017.

All citizens in the community are urged to travel with the utmost caution

over the next few days.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances resulting from the tropical situation

in the Gulf of Mexico, the venues plan to re-open Friday, June 23

(unless otherwise indicated at a later date).

Shangri La Gardens Outpost Tours: Tours along Adams Bayou will be closed effective immediately and remain closed through Friday, June 23. An evaluation of the water levels to ensure public safety on the bayou will be made June 23, and the re-open date of the Outpost Tours will be as soon as possible.
