Carl's Jr. Restaurant Robbery-Pinehurst

On Monday, 7/31/2017 at approximately 9:45pm, Pinehurst Police Officer K. Norton responded to Carl's Jr. restaurant located at 228 Strickland Drive in Pinehurst, in reference to aggravated robbery.

The manager of the business reported that a black male wearing black pants and an orange hoodie approached her and displayed a black semi-automatic handgun. He was wearing a red bandanna over the bottom part of his face. The suspect placed the weapon to the manager's head, placed his arm around her throat and demanded she open the cash registers and safe, which she did. The suspect left with an undetermined amount of U.S. Currency. He ran from the business and down Camellia Street into the Roselawn sub division. No one was injured during the robbery.

The West Orange and Orange Police Departments assisted in the investigation. The suspect is described as a black male, 5'5” to 5'7” in height. Anyone with information as to the identity of the robbery suspect is encouraged to contact the Pinehurst Police Department at 409-886-2221.
