Cow Bayou Swing bridge

Work on the swing bridge on E. Roundbunch Road has made it to the middle and contractors for the Texas Department of Transportation have removed the deck from the turntable pedestal. The $9-million, 18-month repair job began after inspectors declared it unsafe in March.
