Orangefield Junior High Football against Buna

Last night the 7th grade lost another tough one to Buna 32-0 bringing their record to 0-2. Mason Houghton and Kane Smith tried to jump start the offense all night long but were unable to really get anything going with the smothering defense bearing down on them. Caleb Fregia was one of the defensive standouts opening the game with an interception.

The 8th grade bounced back after a tough loss last week to get their first win of the season defeating the Cougars 26-6. Leading the way on offense was Gavin Perri-Koci who returned the opening kickoff for a 67yd touchdown. Cameron Dischler and Brayden Parker also had big days on the offensive side of the ball both contributing touchdowns. Defensive standouts were Jackson Humplik and Case Singleton.

Both A teams will be at home next Thursday against the Kirbyville Wildcats and the combined B team will be traveling to Bridge City on Tuesday.
