Homicide involving a child in Orange

A man has been taken into custody after Orange Police say he killed his child today at a home in Orange’s Roselawn addition. They say the child is between the ages of 3 and 4-years-old and would not confirm the cause of death, other than it was a "violent death."

The incident happened in the 500 block of Azalea Avenue and was reported at about 11:15 a.m.

Scanner activity had the call coming in as a stabbing.
