LCM Boys take Larry Pain Tourney

February 28 (Beaumont) – The Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School Bear golf team took part in the Beaumont ISD Larry Paine Memorial Tournament at Henry Homberg Golf Course. LCM finished with a season best 312 to win the team division by seven strokes. Hardin-Jefferson (319) finished 2nd and Deer Park finished 3rd with a 327.

Jack Burke continued his solid play as he fired a 1/71 to win the tournament for the third consecutive year. Senior Mason Sterling had his best tournament of the year finishing with a round of 79. Wyatt Wozniak and Travis Love both shot 81 and Tim Weaver finished with a 91.
