Mary “Lynne” Greenwell, 69, of Orange, passed away on June 10, 2020, at her home.
Born in Orange, Texas on January 29, 1951, she was the daughter of Dennis “Ace” Amodeo and Betty Jo (Shoemaker) Amodeo. Lynne was a graduate of Kelley High School. She worked as a nursing assistant for Greenacres in Bridge City, where she was able to lovingly care for her patients and treat them as her own family. Lynne was an excellent nurturer and caregiver throughout her life, and loved to spend time with her uncle. She had a big heart and a kind soul which made knowing her an absolute pleasure. Lynne was full of love and life and will be missed dearly by all those who she came to know and love.
She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Leslie Smith; and her mother, Betty Jo Amodeo.
She is survived by her loving husband of almost 30 years, Jack Greenwell; her father Dennis “Ace” Amodeo; stepchildren, Jack Greenwell, Jr. of Temple, and Lisa Greenwell of Mauriceville; grandchildren, Tyler Richard, Roland Guidry, Cailen Savignano, Justin Morcam, and Ashley Green; nephews, Calvin Turner and Tim Amodeo; nieces, Summers Greenwell, Oriana Amodeo, Keeligh Amodeo, and Amy Turner; and uncle, James Donnaud.
