Gloria Ann Breaux, 94, Orange

Gloria Ann Breaux, 94, of Orange passed away peacefully Sunday, January 24 at Focused Care of Orange, Tx. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 29, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange. Officiating will be Father Sinclair Oubre. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Orange. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange. Born November 7, 1926 in Orange, TX to Sylvia and Gilbert Breaux, she lived with her parents until their deaths. A graduate of Stark High School, she was a retired telephone operator from Southwestern Bell. Gloria was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and then St. Francis of Assisi in Orange. She always found family and church as the central focus of her life. Gloria never married nor had any children but her 10 nieces and nephews were her pride and joy. She treasured all her times spent with them, especially Stephen, watching football games on Sunday. She loved to travel with them and took some on vacations. Her favorite pastimes were crossword puzzles and playing bingo. Cherishing her love and memories will be her nieces and nephews: Robert and Katie Breaux of Maitland, FL, Beverly and Dale Thames of Bay City, TX, Stephen Breaux, Yvonne and Charles Bigler, Don and Angie Breaux, Colleen Fowler, and Daniel Breaux all of Bridge City, TX, Dianne and Caro DelBarto of Fort Meyers, FL, Peggy and Bobby Hammock of Cleveland, TX, Sheryl and Mark Davis of Hemphill, TX, and her many great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Sylvia and Gilbert Breaux, and her brothers, Thomas, Leroy and Johnny. Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Breaux, Daniel W. Breaux, Jr., Charles Bigler, Nathan Fowler, Glynn (Bubba) Fowler, Stephen Breaux, and Darrin Bigler.
