Oh How God Loves You
The Lord's Love And Protection
The Lord’s love and protection
Are never so far,
That he cannot reach us
Wherever we are.
His arm outstretched
Like an eagle’s wing,
Ever hovering with the love
And care he brings.
Enlightened by his strength
And comforting power,
We may rest and be assured
Every day, every hour.

Hebrews 13:5 "…for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Can we get our hearts around this? If you can, you will have found the ultimate peace of mind and heart. With this truth of God's love for you, you can face the world. The Almighty God, Jesus Christ, your Lord and Savior, your all in all, says, "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." He will go with you into the darkest experiences and not leave you, and bring you victory everytime. He will go along with you in your most hurtful and darkest times in life. You may even feel great fear, and wonder if He is there, but read the promise of love, "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." He is not there necessarily to deliver you from it, but for sure to deliver you through it.
I like what Jesus said in John 13:1 "…having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end." Are you in a dark moment in your life? Are the world affairs swirling around you, robbing you of your peace, wondering where God is in all of this? Or are you in the midst of a stormy relationship, a family uproar, trouble at work? What is it that is trying to distract you from that peace of mind? Think upon the God of saving grace and the salvation of His Son, Jesus, that has brought to you that which you can never lose because of His promise…"for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."
At 74 years of age, I look back over my life and I'm not pleased with everything I remember, but since April of 1965 the one thing that reigns over it all is that when I trusted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, no matter what, He has never left me, nor forsaken me. There was a lot to clean up in my life and there remains clean up work and there will always be more for Jesus to do in clean up work. When He took you on, at that point and time you were established with Him to be your Lord and Savior by faith. He agreed to be your Savior and work on you the rest of your life to clean up the bad and ugly of it. He has not and will not forsake you because you are too much for Him. He has not and will not forsake you because you have too much wrong with you, or you have too many problems, or you are just a drama freak making the smallest problem in your life bigger than it is. You and I are a mess and the world is a mess and life in general is a mess. Hence, the reason each and everyone of us need Him as the Savior and Lord of our life. Only He can bring the right and best outcome to it all. We step around or through sinful garbage in our public and personal lives, but He walks with us to get us eventually beyond this messed up world, and maybe messed up personal life. He says "they are MY sheep." John 10:27-30 "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one." "Greater love has no man" than the love God has for His children of His Kingdom…born again believers. "… he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."
