Orangefield Junior High Bobcats starts cross country season

The Orangefield Junior High Bobcats started their cross country season off strong. Rylan McAlpin kicked the meet off for the boys, taking second place with a blistering time of 13:13, followed by Carson Worthy in third running a 13:27, and Rylan Agerton in fourth with a time of 13:54. 

The OJH girls also began their season on a high note with Christa Kyle running 18:17 for a second-place finish in her first race for the Bobcats.  Madison Trammell took fourth with a time of 23:21. Mollie Meyer finished sixth with a time of 24:09, and Kayli Wilson placed seventh with a time of 24:10.

The Bobcats have been working hard and exceeded expectations in their season opener. We are looking forward to seeing them compete at their next meet on Saturday, September 4 at Claiborne Park.
