Wayne Devillier, 69, Orange

Nolan Wayne Devillier, 69, of Orange, passed away on September 3, 2021, in Orange.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 10, 2021, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City. Officiating will be Father Earnie Carpio. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.

Born in Eunice , Louisiana, on November 30, 1951, he was the son of Nolan Joseph Devillier and Mary Nell Tate. Wayne was raised in Bridge City, and graduatied from Bridge City High School. He was a devout Catholic and a dedicated member of St. Henry Catholic Church. Wayne was a proud business owner of the Hitching Post in Bridge City for 45 years. He will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Nell Devillier; sisters, Ginger Gunter and Kathy Walker.

He is survived by his sister, Gwen Titus and husband Tony of Bridge City; nieces, Shelly Hollier, Kim Titus - Sergeant, Missy Daville, Terri McGavock, and Nikki Pruett; nephews, Chuck Wilson and Scott Wilson; 24 great nieces and nephews; and 15 great-great nieces and nephews.
