Born in Mora, Minnesota, on September 13, 1953, he was the son of Harvey Brones and Carleen (Collins) Brones. Gerald adored his dogs and loved playing ball with them. He spoiled them rotten, often feeding them steaks. He dedicated his entire life to his children and providing the best life he could for them. On his off-time, however rare it would be, he enjoyed kicking back with a cold Budlight on his deck and listening to Big Dog 106. Gerald was a member of the Seaman's Church and his lifetime career was as a River Boat Captain. He will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.
