Elvin Fuselier, Sr., 78, Bridge City

Elvin Fuselier, Sr., 78, of Bridge City, passed away on March 14, 2022, at his home in Bridge City.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Jack Comer. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Mamou, Louisiana, on June 2, 1943, he was the son of Wedry Fuselier and Irene Guillory. Elvin was a dedicated member to his church, Circle Drive Baptist Church, for several years. He worked in the oil and gas industry as a pipe fitter for local union 195. Elvin was very well travelled as he got to work all over the world. He loved working so much he considered it his hobby and stayed working until he was 75. Elvin played the guitar and

loved old westerns, he was a true cowboy at heart. He could be stubborn but that never stopped him from making friends as he knew everyone. He was truly loved by everyone and will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wedry Fuselier and Irene Guillory; son, Ray Fuselier; grandson, Jeffery Caillier; and siblings, Tony Fuselier, Robert Fuselier, Richard Fuselier, Terry Fuselier, Elaine Marceaux, and Diane Wright.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Amalia Fuselier; children, Joey Fuselier and wife Donnakay Fuselier, Melanie Howard and husband Steve, Josh Fuselier, Katina Fuselier; grandchildren, Magan Inman, Samantha Caillier, Trae Fuselier, Amber Harwood, Kandace Rash, Jessica Tallant Jacob Fuselier, Sandra Hebert, Steven Howard; great-grandchildren, Samuel Garcia, Gracie Renshaw, Emma Heber, Brooke Harwood, Bailey Harwood,

Melody Hebert, Wyatt Caillier, Andie Fuselier, Marion Howard, Elliot Rash, Lucy Rash.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joey Fuselier, Trae Fuselier, Josh Fuselier, Steven Howard, Jacob Fuselier, and Ricky LaFleur.
