Marie Badeaux, 80, of Bridge City, passed away on April 11, 2022, in her home.
Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Funeral Homes in Orange.
Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on March 3, 1942, she was the daughter of Robert Badeaux and Frances Gaspard.
Marie’s passion was reading. She loved to travel, go on cruises, to the beach, or making the journey to a state park to enjoy some fishing. Marie would spend her time at home out in the yard gardening or enjoying the company of her brothers and sisters. She would spend lots of time in a casino playing her favorite slot machines. She will be deeply missed by her cat, Baby, as well as her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Badeaux and Frances Gaspard; brothers, Earle Thibodeaux and Ray Thibodeaux.
She is survived by her sister, Dorothea Pachuca and husband Herman, and nephew Anthony Mouton all of Bridge City; sister, Cindy Rhoden and husband Mike, niece, Regina Rhoden, great-nieces, Cheyanne Stubblefield, Ryleigh Stubblefield, great-nephew, Gage Stubblefield all of Vidor; nephew, Joshua Rhoden, great-nephew Aleister Rhoden both of Houston; great-niece, Amelia Rhoden of Lake Charles; along with numerous other nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.
