Claudia Marie Williams, 25, Orange

Claudia Marie Williams, 25, of Orange, passed away on April 12, 2022, in Louisiana.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 18, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Barry Bradley. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.

Claudia was born in Beaumont, Texas, on February 26, 1997, she is the daughter of Charles (Chuck) and Paige Williams. She was a 2015 Honor Graduate from Bridge City High School. While in high school, Claudia played for the Lady Cardinal Soccer Team. She was a four-year letterman, voted Team Captain all four years and was an All-District Selection all four years. Claudia had a scholarship offer to attend Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi and play for the Lady Islander Soccer Team, upon graduation. Instead, she followed her heart decided to stay closer to home and be with her family she loved so much. Claudia attended Lamar State College in Orange and received her Associate Degrees in Criminal Justice and General Studies. She was currently pursuing her Registered Nursing Degree locally but planned on completing her degree at Texas A&M University.

Claudia and her father enjoyed attending Texas A&M sporting events, especially football. She also loved attending her father's sporting events @ Vidor Junior High and High School. She was kindhearted and was a great friend. She absolutely adored her dogs, Asti and Maki. She loved traveling and seeing new places. More than anything, Claudia loved her Mother and family very much and will be missed tremendously by everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles "Spanky" Williams and Margaret "Polly" Williams, as well as her aunt, Cathy Minton.

She is survived by her parents, Charles "Chuck" and Paige Williams; grandparents, Cleon and Claudine Hogan, and Charles W. Daniels; siblings, Claire Annaley Williams, Cambree Paige Williams, Channing Taylor Williams; aunts and uncles, Kim and Lon Hubbard, Grace and Lance Daniels; cousins, Katie Curtis, Taryn and Michael Gauthier, Shanley and Lanston Fults, Leah and Buck Potter, Olivia Hubbard, Meagan and Corey Brown, Kyle Minton, Sophia Daniels, Beau Daniels; along with many other extended family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Minton, Nate Smith, Ralph Fields, Lanston Fults, Michael Gauthier, Cody Mills, and Buck Potter. Honorary pallbearers will be the Vidor Football Coaching Staff.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Alcoholics Anonymous.
