Wade Edward Osman, 78, Orange

Wade Edward Osman, 78, of Orange, passed away on April 16, 2022, at Heartfelt Embrace in Orange, Texas.

Edward was born in Brooklyn, New York, on December 18, 1943. He was the son of Henry Andrew Osman and Jacqueline Wade Osman. His mother passed away shortly after his birth and Henry went on to marry Willie Collins.

Willie raised Edward as her own and loved him unconditionally until her passing in 1985. Ed had the pleasure of having his father for another 18 years and was an amazing caregiver until Henry’s death in 2003.

Edward worked for numerous hospitals in the area including Saint Elizabeth and Huntsville Memorial in the business office. It was at Huntsville Memorial where his life changed forever upon meeting his wife Doris. Ed’s last professional position was definitely his favorite. He worked as a greeter at Walmart in Bridge City where he enjoyed visiting with all the customers.

Sports were always a hobby of Ed’s and for decades he played golf until his back said no more. He watched every sport on television he could, especially football and baseball.

After his retirement in 2018, Ed was kept busy by Doris and their three dogs. He loved driving his truck around while listening to old movies on the radio.

Ed is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Doris Osman; daughters, Carrie Osman of San Antonio and Laurie Noteboom of Houston; grandchildren, Isabel, Olivia, and Inez Marin, Garrett and Blake Noteboom; along with his furbabies, Sadie, Chyka and Charlie.
