Kristi Leigh Skinner Neff, 49, of Orange, passed away on May 13, 2022, at Mid Jefferson in Beaumont.
A memorial gathering will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins
Funeral Home in Beaumont.
Born in Orange, Texas, on April 17, 1973, she was the daughter of Raymond Harold Masters and Karen Dyson
Masters. Kristi graduated high school from West Orange Stark and went on to attend college at East Texas Baptist
University. After college she worked at the Orange County Appraisal District, West Orange Stark as a substitute
teacher, Conrad Orange Shipyard, as well as being a notary public. Kristi enjoyed painting and creating especially
DIY projects and she also frequented Zumba classes. Her favorite places to go were to the beach and Washington to
visit her daughter and son-in-law. She was deeply loved and will be truly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Karen Masters; and sister Wendi Lynn Skinner.
She is survived by daughter, Jalee Apodaca and beloved son-in-law, Damioun Apodaca; sister, Belynda Skinner;
others relatives, Noah Rose, Mary Rose, James Lowe, Nicholas Lowe, Dace Lowe, Madeline Lowe, and Judy
Masters; and her dogs, Zodiac and Rebel Lynn.
