Anderson G. Williams, 65, Beaumont

Anderson G. Williams, 65, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on May 27, 2022, at his home, surrounded by family.

A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Alice Keith Community Center in Beaumont.

Born in Mt. Holly, New Jersey, on June 4, 1956, he was the son of Burl T. D. Williams and Annie Frances (Gordon) Williams. Anderson was a man of strong Christian faith and shared his love of God with others as a minister and teacher of the word. He attended Faith School of Theology in Charleston, Maine, as well as Rhema Bible College in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He found great joy in reading, practicing martial arts, watching movies, and

learning about history. Anderson also had a deep love for music and was a talented singer. His family will always cherish the memories of him singing “Cry On” by Commissioned. Anderson had the mind of a philosopher with a heart of gold. He was one of the most intelligent people you could ever meet. If you knew Anderson, you were sure to learn something from him, about him, about yourself, or how to learn.

He loved to show his love to his beloved wife, family, and his entire community. Anderson was a bright light in this world and he will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Anderson was preceded in death by his father, and his sisters, Berlinda Ford, Elna Williams, and Renee Williams.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karen L. Williams; his mother, Annie Williams of Beaumont; his sons, Jirou A. Williams of Atlanta, Georgia, Fredrick B. Williams of Huntsville, and Wykeen G. Williams of St. Joseph, Missouri; his siblings, Shay Williams, Sr. and wife Patricia of Dallas, Tanya Jack and husband Brian of Beaumont, and Tia Butler of Dallas; as well as his 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins.

The big question of Anderson was the “why Paul question?”
