Young Adult Summer Reading look alike contest

Teens in Orange made some happy little clouds in their paintings last week at the Orange Public Library. As part of the Young Adult Summer Reading Program, the library hosted a Bob Ross painting party and look-alike contest. The late Bob Ross has become a cultural icon after his years of painting lessons on PBS. Bob Ross painting parties are popular and the library held one in the Ira Williamson Meeting Room for the young adult program for students going into the seventh through eleventh grades. The group meetings Tuesday evenings with the July 12 meeting to feature a variety of arts and crafts, and the last meeting on July 19 will have games and drawings. The library is asking if adults would be interested in a Bob Ross party.s
