Judy Foreman, 80, of Orange, passed away on July 6, 2022, at Focus Care in Orange.
Judy was born in Orange, Texas, on May 21, 1942, she was the daughter of Walton “Cowboy” and Della Hardy.
She played basketball, was a cheerleader and homecoming queen for Orangefield high school, and really enjoyed watching basketball games throughout her life. Judy was a devout Catholic woman, even in her later years when she was unable to attend church. Judy made a living as a respected bank teller and bookkeeper at several banks in Orange County.
She loved her grandchildren, who lovingly called her Maw Maw, and great-grandchildren, who called her MiMi, more than anything and took every chance to babysit she could. Judy will truly be missed by all her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Edwin J. Foreman; daughter, Gayla Sherrill; and parents, Walton and Della Hardy.
She is survived by her daughter, Angie Meyer of Vidor; son-in-law, Kevin Sherrill; grandchildren, Tyler Ladner and wife Lisa, Jessica Pace and husband Matthew, Kaylon Brack and husband Ryan, Marc Meyer; great-grandchildren, Kortni Gunn, Kamryn Brack, Jenna Ladner, Madilyn Brack, Brooklyn Pace; brother, Stephen Hardy; as well as the Foreman family.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Brack, Skylar Hunter, Tyler Ladner, David Bonds, Dalton Bonds, and Logan Bonds.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer’s Association or American Diabetes Association.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
A graveside service will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in Orange.
