Bobbie Fay “Nanny” Lonadier Philen, 78, of Bridge City, passed away on August 4, 2022, at home surround by her loving family. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 12, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Chaplain Mark Dubon of Groves Community Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 12, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Born in Orange, Texas, on May 24, 1944, she was the daughter of Louis and Nora Lonadier. Bobbie was a devoted wife and mother. She was married to the love of her life for 55 years, her and her husband enjoyed the little things like long drives together. Bobbie and her husband Elray were inseparable. She always put everyone before herself in life and in work. Bobbie was a cook for Dupont for many years, and also helped out at her sister Bunnie’s daycare. She loved going to church, reading mysteries and making memories. Bobbie will be dearly missed and cherished by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Nora Lonadier; sister, Verna “Bunny” Fox; twin granddaughters Christina and Stephanie Philen, & granddaughter Kelcee` Cappel.She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Elray Philen; children and grandchildren, Ray Philen and wife Connie, and their son Alex Philen of Germany, and Michael Philen and wife Kimberly, and their daughter Kerrah Cappel of Bridge City; sister, Shirley Baum and husband Don of Lufkin; as well as nieces, nephews, and fur babies Charley and Sam. Serving as pallbearers will be Pat Broussard, Ben Broussard, Jerry Broussard, David Hennigan, Daniel Walker, Michael Montondon, and John Desper. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Philen, Ray Philen, Alex Philen, Jerry Broussard, Dutch Fox, and Don Baum.
