Joyce Katherine Kelley, 80, Vidor

Joyce Katherine Kelley, 80, of Vidor, passed away on August 4, 2022, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Brother Terry. Burial will follow at Davis Cemetery in Beulah Springs, Texas.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Born in Beaumont, Texas on November 17, 1941, she was the daughter of Benton and Katie Rice. Joyce enjoyed watching sports but only if the Houston Astros or the Dallas Cowboys were playing. She loved visiting New

Orleans for Mardi Gras and taking in all the entertainment. You could often find her with Betty Ballanco, her cousin, best friend and travel companion, they had many great adventures together. Joyce also got immense joy at trying her hand on the Magnificent 7’s Slots in Las Vegas. She was a vivacious woman who lived her life to the fullest and got the most out of everything. Joyce was so loved and will be deeply missed by all her family and

friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe W. Kelley; and her parents, Benton and Katie Rice. She is survived by her children, Susan Suggs and husband, James, Joe Kelley and wife, Colleen, Sheila Arnaud and husband, Grady; grandchildren, Lesley Mitchell and husband, Alan, Mathew Suggs and wife, Kami, Christain Suggs, Noah Suggs and wife, Jennifer, Brooke Levesque and husband, Louis, Joey Kelley and Ashley Bailey,

Danny Campise, Kinsey Arnaud, Konner Arnaud and Ashley Cisneros, Kyle Cothern, Sean Cothern; great-grandchildren, Freya, Brody, Clara, Locklyn, Easton, Klein; sisters, Jeanette Lee and husband, Bob, Jacqueline Busch; as well as her good friend, Ginger Meza. Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Cothern, Sean Cothern, Mathew Suggs, Christain Suggs, Noah Suggs, Danny Campise, Joey Kelley, and Konner Arnaud. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas, or First Baptist Church in Vidor.
