Aaron James Lejeune, 28, Bridge City

Aaron James Lejeune, 28, of Bridge City, passed away on August 23, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Ed Rawls of Silver Oaks Baptist Church in Mauriceville. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.

Born in Nederland, Texas, on September 3, 1993, he was the son of James Edward Lejeune and Sherry Lynn Lejeune. Aaron was on the All-State Cross-country Team while he attended Bridge City High School. He was always very athletic, a skilled outdoorsman, and loved to fish. Aaron had such a loving and soft heart which was one thing that made him a great friend, and an even better dad.

He loved his babies with all his heart and had a protective instinct like no other. Aaron was a light in this world and was so deeply loved and will forever be missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Jeanette Britnell; and grandfather-in-law, Dennis Smith.

He is survived by his loving wife, Haley Lejeune; children, Amelia Lejeune, Rylee Lejeune, Ryder Lejeune, Mathew Granger; parents, James and Sherry Lejeune; sisters, Aimee Weldon, Carmen Hudspeth and husband, Jonathan; nephew, Cohen Hudspeth; grandparents, Dewey and Mary Lois Lejeune; mother-in-law, Joyce Smith, father-in-law, Jay Frederick and wife, Crystal; grandmother-in-law, Jonnie Smith; brother-in-law, Hunter Frederick;as well as numerous other loving family and friends.
