Bridge City ISD Education Foundation give grants

Members of the Bridge City ISD Education Foundation last week surprised teachers in the district with grant money to help with special projects not covered by the district's regular budget. The education foundation gave 16 grants and members thanked the 100 Cardinal Centurions who donated $100 each to help cover the grants. The foundation is sponsoring its first fundraising golf tournament on October 15 and is challenging Bridge City High School classes to each sponsor a hole for $100.
