Judith Lynn Reeves, 72, of Orange, passed away on September 23, 2022, at her home in Orange.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 28, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Officiating will be Deacon Jimmy Dean Owens. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Born in Houston, Texas, on May 2, 1950, she was the daughter of Roy D. Helm and Laura Sue (Duke) Helm.
Judith worked for Orange County in the Tax Department and later went to work for the Orange County Drainage District where she retired. She was one of the most kind and loving people you could ever meet. Judith enjoyed traveling and going to the casino. Her all-time favorite place to visit was Hawaii. Judith loved to sit and put together scrapbooks of her family and friends, whom she adored. Her grandchildren meant the world to her, and she loved spending as much time with them as she could.
To know Judith was to love her. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Laura Helm, and siblings, Alvin Helm, Roy Helm, Linda Helm, and Helen Helm.
She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Edward R. Reeves; children, Brandy Michelle Reeves and Edward R. Reeves, Jr. and wife Lisa all of Orange; grandchildren, Finn Russell Reeves and Madison Ray Reeves; siblings, Janet Owens, Michael Helm, and Carol Fort; sister-in-law, Arlie Helm; and numerous other loving family and friends.
