Sharon Moore McCabe, 55, Orange

Sharon Moore McCabe, age 55 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022 at her home. Family and friends will gather for visitation from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Dorman Funeral Home.

Sharon was born on February 26, 1967 in Orange, Texas to parents, Avie Jean Welch Moore and William “Bill” Moore. She graduated from Little Cypress Mauriceville High School and was of the Baptist faith. Sharon had a kind carefree spirit and was always ready for whatever life threw her way. She never met a stranger and was always ready to help others. She absolutely loved the outdoors; whether it was camping, fishing or just spending time near or in the water. Sharon was a collector of “fine junk” and loved to hunt for her treasures every chance she got. She enjoyed growing her beautiful plants and doing crafts. But what she loved most of all was spending time with her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her father, William “Bill” Moore, husband Alan McCabe, and brother in-law Dwayne Gordon.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Avie Moore of Orange, TX, companion and partner Chris Ford of Orange, TX, sons; Brandon Gerald and his wife Kyrie of Orange, TX, Hunter Bruce McCabe of Orange, TX, Matthew Gerald and his wife Cortney of NC, daughter Tara Manshack and her husband Matt of Orange, TX, sisters Michele Butcher of Orange, TX and Bridget Gordon of Orange, TX, grandchildren; Payton, Lillian, Timothy, Bentley, Gannon, Riley, Stevie, Dylan, Logan, Arron, Addison, Sutton and Brody, numerous nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.
