Olga Mae Nunez, 80, of Bridge City, passed away on October 15, 2022. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 22, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City. Officiating will be Father Ernie Carpio. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a rosary starting at 12:30 p.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Born in Abbeyville, Louisiana, on April 9, 1942, she was the daughter of Ulysse Chatagnier and Azena (Albert) Chatagnier. Olga worked as a supervisor at Bank of America for many years. She was a faithful member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City, where she diligently served on the Bereavement Committee, Social Committee and was a valued member of the Ladies of St. Henry. She always helped others when in need. She loved playing Bingo and going to the Senior Citizens' Hall in Bridge City to visit with her dear friends. Olga left an impact on many lives and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ulysse and Azena Chatagnier. She is survived by her son, Chad Nunez and his wife, Vanessa, grandchildren, Amanda Nunez and Adrian Rodriguez; sisters, Barbara Piat and Maudrey Schur; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Keith Gregg, Paul Piat, Kenneth Smith, Clinton Degeyter, Jesus Oceguera, and Elwin Ballard, Jr.. Honorary pallbearer is Adrian Rodriguez.
