Audrey Ann Hollis, 85, of Orange, passed away on October 28, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 1, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Revered David Millner. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Born in Estherwood, Louisiana, on January 19, 1937, she was the daughter of Calise Broussard and Lucille (Myers) Broussard. Audrey worked for West Orange ISD for many years. She was a proud member of McArthur Heights Baptist Church. Audrey enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, and sitting down with a good book. She loved traveling and dancing to Cajun music with her husband, Howard. Audrey loved her family dearly and her grandchildren had a very special place in her heart. She left an impact on many lives and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Howard Hollis; parents, Callise and Lucille Broussard; and grandson Seth Sartin. She is survived by her daughters, Loretta Bishop and husband Ronny of Port Arthur and Trina Blanchard and husband Steve of Orange; grandchildren, Ethan Petry, Charity Palmer and husband Steve, Crystal Bronson and husband James, Amanda Marie-Luce and husband Franck, James Petry and wife Stephanie, and Daryl Dorman and wife Callee; 13 great grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Broussard, C.J. Broussard and wife Marion. Serving as pallbearers will be Daryl Dorman, Steve Blanchard, James Bronson, Jr., Cameron Petry, Aaron Sartin, Ethan Petry, and Steve Palmer.
