Raymond Walter Butler, Jr., 32, of Orange, Texas, passed away on December 29, 2022.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 2022, at Silver Oaks Baptist Church in Mauriceville. Officiating will be Ed Rawls of Silver Oaks Baptist Church in Mauriceville.
Born in Huntsville, Alabama, on January 19, 1990, He was the son of Myrtle Jeannette (Silva) Davis. A very important day in Raymond’s life took place on April 14, 2014, when he was baptized at Silver Oaks Baptist Church. Raymond was very skilled in mechanics and dedicated years of his life to his work. When he was not at work, he enjoyed spending time in nature, fishing, or finding a new adventure to dive into. Raymond always knew how to light up a room and was known to have a kind and loving heart. He had a heart of gold and was willing to lend a hand wherever needed. Raymond left a special place in every person’s heart he knew. His memory will be cherished by all of his loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jeannette Marie Hoffpauir; aunt, Nancy Gunter; and cousins, Joshua Hardy and Aaron Harris.
He is survived by his fiancé, Kaydee Enderle; mother, Myrtle Davis and husband, Elijah; daughter, Rylee Renea Butler and her mother, Tabby Oquinn; siblings, Travis Simpson, Cecelia Hernandez and husband, Joshua, and Barbara Harvey and husband, A.J.; nieces and nephews, Leyla, Kaden, Briar, Naomi, Christian, Hailey, Angel, and J.J.; and his best friends that he considered family, Harley Pymm, Chris Pymm, Jordan LeBlanc, Holli Adcock; and many other loving friends and family.
