Denise Sue Townsend, 69, Vidor

Denise Sue Townsend, 69, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on December 24, 2022, in, Vidor, Texas.

Memorial Service will be held January 7, 2023, from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at Trinity Church in Beaumont, Texas.

Denise Sue Townsend was born May 4, 1953, in Orange, Texas. Dee was born with Cerebral Palsy. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson high school in 1971. Sweet Dee was so innocent and childlike in so many ways, but had more emotional intelligence than most adults. She loved Elvis, kittens, puppies, and her family. She loved the occasional swear word for emphasis and would giggle afterward. She loved getting her nails painted and getting new earrings or a new dress. She was always ready to pray for anyone who had a need and we always joked that she must have God’s number on speed dial because if Dee prayed for it, it always worked out. We know that she is in a better place now with loved ones that have passed, and she is free from the restraints she had here on earth. We loved her so much and will miss her immensely.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Theresa Townsend, as well as her younger brother Patrick Townsend.

Denise is survived by her older sister Jeanie Townsend Way and her husband Michael Orrin Way; her niece Melissa Webb Ferrand, husband Patrick Ferrand, and their three children Madeleine, Hayden and Carson Ferrand; niece Stephanie Webb Rasch, husband David Rasch and their four children Abby, Luke, Teddy, and Kate Rasch; nephew Michael Parks Webb and his three children Carolina, Colton, and Catherine.
