Mary Ann Morgan, 55, Orange

Mary Ann Morgan, age 55, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023, in Orange, Texas. Services to honor Mary’s life will be held at Dorman Funeral Home Friday, January 13, 2023, at 10:00 AM. Officiating the service is cousin, Rev. Jimmy Dean Owens. A graveside service will be held at Henry Cemetery in Gallatin, Texas at 3:00 PM. A gathering of family and friends for visitation will be held on January 12, 2023, at Dorman Funeral Home, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Mary was born on Monday July 17, 1967, in Port Arthur, Texas, to parents LeRoy Helm and Pearl Rushing Helm. She was a woman of God and a member of MacArthur Heights Baptist church. Mary graduated from West Orange High School in ‘86. Over the years, she worked as an apartment complex manager and home health care taker. She loved to be outdoors, especially when it was cold. Mary was an avid fisherwoman who would fish rain or shine. She often went out fishing with her siblings. When she couldn't be outside, Mary would usually be found baking up delicious treats or spending time with her family. She married her husband, Barry, on February 10, 1990 and have been together ever since. Mary knew she was born to be a mother and her daughter, Reina, was the light of her world. Mary was an incredibly selfless woman who loved others with her entire being. Mary will be loved and missed for years to come by her loved ones.  She is preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Pearl Helm, and her mother in law, Laura Morgan, and her brother in laws, Ronald Beall, Bobby Bray, and Wes Bussell.  Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Barry Morgan, her daughter, Reina Isabella Morgan, her siblings, Pamela Bussell, Roy Lee Helm and wife, Cindy, KayLynn Bray, and Timothy James Helm, her brother in law, Clayton Morgan and wife, Kim, and her nieces, Heather Foote, Kayla Bartholamew and her husband, Russell. Amber Hicks and her husband, Chris, Camrie Helm, Maddison Helm, Katelynn Helm, and her nephews, Brandon Bray, Andrew Noe, Dustin Helm, Chase Noe, Dakota Bussell, and her 2 great nieces, and her 5 great nephews.  Pallbearers honoring Mary will be Timothy Helm, Jason Owens, Travis Owens, Chris Hicks, Brandon Bray, and Dustin Helm. Honorary pallbearers include Roy Lee Helm, Clayton Morgan, Russell Bartholamew, and Dakota Bussell.
