Carroll Wade Trahan, 69, of Nederland, Texas, passed away on January 28, 2023, in Port Arthur.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, Texas. Officiating will be Deacon Melvin. Visitation will take place prior to the service, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a Rosary service to take place at 5:15 p.m., Wednesday, February 1, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on December 29, 1953, he was the son of Homer Trahan and Gussie (Viator) Trahan. Carroll retired from Asbestos Workers Local #22 after 25 years. When he was not working, he enjoyed staying home and hanging out in his backyard. In his free time, Carroll loved cooking, watching sports, and listening to cajun music.
He adored his family more than anything. Carroll's memory will be honored by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Gussie Trahan; brothers, Danny LeBlanc and Ray LeBlanc; and niece and nephew, Crystal Wise and Shane Tesch.
He is survived by his wife, Brandi Trahan; son, Kevin Trahan; daughters, Kelli Trahan, Melissa Wright, and Crystal West and husband, Mark; grandchildren, Destini Trahan, Ryleigh Redman, Jaxson Redman, and Ryan West; sister, Sandra Kelly and husband, Steve; and sister-in-law, Betty LeBlanc.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Steve Kelly, Steven Kelly, Mark West, Steven Kimbell, Craig Thompson, and Brandon Taylor.
