Frederick Pfiester, 73, of Fannett, Texas passed away on March 17, 2023, in Port Arthur, Texas. Memorial services will be 12:00 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Grace Community Church in Fannett, Texas. Officiating will be Mike Parise. Interment will follow at a later date at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on December 31, 1949, he was the son of Frederick Pfiester Jr. and Eva Nell Pfiester. Frederick served in the United States Air Force then opened his own businesses Fred’s Towing and The Tool Chest in Cincinnati. He then managed truck stops around the country including Petro in Beaumont.
He was truly a workaholic always needing to be busy. Later in life he enjoyed taking cruises with his wife and traveling to California to see his family. Frederick was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him during his journey through life.
He is preceded in death by his parents Frederick Pfiester Jr. and Eva Nell Pfiester; his son, Frederick Pfiester IV; and sisters, Joy Wilson and Kay Mahaffey.
He is survived by his loving wife, Florence (Margaret) Pfiester; children, Angela Schexnider, Mark Bradley, Jennifer Pinney, and Frederick Pfiester V; grandchildren, Ammie Schexnider, Devin Moreno, Isaac Pinney, Mickayla Shepherd, Bryan Bradley, Ricky Marshall, John Schexnider, Kaitlyn Cook, Emerald Moreno, Hannah Pinney, Emma Pinney, and Abigail Pinney; sister, Lynn Welker; and seven great grandchildren.
