Carmen was a consummate protector. She was elegant and poised, intentional and honest, steadfast and true. She both loved deeply and is deeply loved by all of those who were around her. Carmen enjoyed nature and gardening, and she was very proud to have earned her Master Gardener certification and to have used those skills in the community. She also greatly loved going to the lake to fish, take in the beauty of nature, and spend treasured time with friends and family; so many of our fondest memories were made there with her.
Carmen is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Judy Johnson, of Orange; her brothers, Joey and David; and her sister, Bernadette.
She is survived by her husband, James McGill, Jr., of Orange; her daughter, Jamie, son-in-law, Chris, and granddaughter, Amorin.
