Graceann (Lindsey) Harrington, 81, of Orange, Texas, passed away on March 26, 2023, in Port Arthur, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, March 31, 2023, at St. Paul Methodist Church in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Mark Bunch.
Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Born in Los Angeles, California, on December 6, 1941, she was the daughter of Grady A. Lindsey and Grace A. (Frohling) Lindsey. Graceann worked as a children’s therapist for Orange County after she earned her master’s degree in psychology. During her free time, she enjoyed art, painting, theater, and cooking. Graceann loved finding new things to try including gourmet food, different genres of music, ballet and opera, and playing instruments. She was an avid reader and very detail oriented and organized, except for when it came to being punctual. You could always count on her to be fashionably late. Her loved ones will cherish the memories they have of Graceann and will miss her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Grace Lindsey; and her brother, Bob Schuler.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Harrington and wife, Bryn of Sanford, North Carolina; daughter, Jody Moore and husband, Sam of Bridge City, Texas; grandchildren, Logan Conner and wife, Mechelle, Shandi Conner and Kevin Wolford, Hunter Keddy, Charles Harrington, Mackenzie Robertson and husband, John, Stephanie Moore, Brennon Moore, Brandon Bertone and wife, Kaitlyn, and Kara Bertone; great-grandchildren, Carston Hamilton, Ella Wolford, Jerry Conner, Claire Robertson, Presley Bertone, and Enzo Bertone.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.
