Akilles Garcia of Orangefield High School placed third in his weight class during state powerlifting meet in Abilene on March 24
The Texas state boys powerlifting meet was conducted the weekend of March 24-25 in Abilene. Akilles Garcia from Orangefield High School placed in third place in the 220-pound weight class. Garcia lifted 1,570 pounds during the statewide competition.
