Diane Buchman Lindley, 79, of Orange, Texas, passed away on April 3, 2023, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 7, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Keith Royal. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
The cremated remains of Diane’s father, John Buchman, will be put to rest alongside her.
Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 6, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on July 15, 1943, she was the daughter of John Buchman and Gertrude (Mott) Buchman, who were married for 51 years. Diane dedicated her life to caring for her family and her home. One of her favorite things to do was getting lunch with the girls.
Her loved ones remember her for being the best “Maw Maw” ever and always putting her family first. Diane’s family always meant the world to her. Her loved ones will go on to cherish the memories they have of Diane and will miss her deeply.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Gertrude Buchman; and her husband, Chester Lindley.
She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Walters and husband, Clint, Sherri Ellis and husband, Ricky, and Phyllis McDuff Bell; 7 grandchildren, Alan, Amy, Jessica, Crissy, Brandon, Jared, and Lindsey; 9 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Howard Lindley; sisters-in-law, Sue Saylor and Janet Lindley; nephew, Bryan Beukema; and numerous other loving family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Beukema, Mike Sweezy, Clint Waters, Luiz Silva, Trey Hutchison, and Tom Pinch.
