Brenda Joyce Williams, age 77, of Orange, Texas, passed away on April 7, 2023, in Port Arthur, Texas.
Services to honor Brenda will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, April 14, 2023, at the Miracle Restoration Revivals Church, in Orange, Texas. Burial will immediately follow, at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park. Visitation of family and friends will be held from 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM, on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Dorman Funeral Home.
Brenda was born in Orange, Texas, on Wednesday, March 6, 1946, to Alfred B. and Texas Theresa (Thomas) Miller. She was a lifelong resident of Orange, Texas and taught elementary students, at BISD, for over 20 years.
Brenda met the love of her life, when she came to know her husband, David. The couple married on April 14, 1972, and shared 47 years together. Brenda was a devout Christian woman, who enjoyed teaching Sunday school, and was one of the founding members of the Miracle Restoration Revivals Church. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially while they played cards; family was truly the love of her life. Brenda was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Preceding Brenda in death is her loving husband, David Lee Williams, Sr.; son, Timothy Wayne Williams; parents, Alfred and Theresa Miller; brother, Alfred Weldon Miller; and sisters, Margaret Hodge, Minnie Aurelia Deutsch, Mildred Aline and husband, Charles, and Thelma Fay Buyea.
Brenda is survived by sons, David L. Williams, Jr. and Jennifer Jacobs, of Orange, Texas, and Thomas A. Williams, of Orange, Texas; daughter, Margaret E. Jones and her husband, Grant, of Orange, Texas; brothers-in-law, Jerry Buyea and Thomas J. Hodge; and her beloved grandchildren, Layton M. Williams, Jacob Myers, Kaleb Myers, and Alyssah Cunningham.
Honoring Brenda as Pallbearers are David L. Williams, Jr., Thomas Williams, Grant Jones, James Hodge, Greg Eastin, and Kaleb Myers.
