Krista Lee Courtney, 47, Beaumont

Krista Lee Courtney, 47, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on April 11, 2023, at her home. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Impact Church on Crow road in Beaumont. Born in Baytown, Texas, on March 3, 1976, she was the daughter of Larry Courtney and Pamela (Horlacher) Courtney. Krista’s family remembers her for being a very kindhearted and compassionate person. She loved listening to music and watching movies. Krista’s family meant everything to her, and she was very protective of them. Her loved ones will go on to cherish their memories of her and will miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter and Beryl Horlacher, and Ralph and Ada Courtney; and step-grandfather, John Lane. She is survived by her parents, Larry and Pamela Courtney of Beaumont; children, Lee Courtney, Madison Sullivan and husband, Matt, and Maya Bush; grandchildren, Judah, Walter, and Maze; brother, Pastor Stephen Courtney and wife, Ellie; and nieces and nephew, Natalie, Landon, and Audrey Courtney.
