Glenn Earl Motte, 78, of Vidor, passed away on April 29, 2023, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Born in Port Neches, Texas, on August 15, 1944, he was the son of Vincent Motte and Marie Lopez Motte. Glenn proudly served in the United States Army, the United States Navy, and the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. After 21 years of his service, he retired from the military and worked as a truck driver for 20 years. Glenn was a native of Port Neches, Texas and a long-time resident of Vidor, Texas and Bevil Oaks, Texas. During his free time, he enjoyed going on cruises and vacationing in Hawaii. Glenn loved his dogs and treasured his time with them. He was a kind man who would help anyone in need. Glenn’s loved ones will go on to cherish their memories with him and miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Sandra Motte; daughter, Cindy Motte; and his parents. He is survived by his children, Larry Paul Motte, Kenneth Ray Motte, Richard Earl Motte and wife, Angel, and Wendy Motte Davis and husband, Toby; five grandchildren, Brandy Fontnow, Glenn Motte, Madison Davis, Trenton Davis, and Maloah Motte; and great-grandchildren, Kinley, Landon, Marley, and Tate. Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont.
