Charles Edward Billeaud, 56, Vinton

Charles Edward Billeaud, 56, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023 in Vinton, Louisiana.

He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and after living in several places in the United States, he settled in Orange County, Texas over 40 years ago. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Charles enjoyed playing pool and was a former APA pool player.

Survivors include his wife of nine years, Suzan Billeaud of Orange, Texas; his step-children, Trisha Rubero of Vidor, Texas and Joseph Hodges and wife, Rebecca of Willow Creek, North Carolina; his siblings, Debra Verrett of Bridge City, Texas, Jimmy Billeaud of Kentucky, Rose Wiley and husband, Ken of Mauriceville, Texas, and Michelle Billeaud of South Carolina; his mother-in-law, Marie Weeks of Orange, Texas; six grandchildren, Adreanah Rubero, Zach Rubero, Jimmy Mizell, Michael Hodges, Ellieanna Hodges, and Isabella Hodges; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Lou Billeaud; his sister, Charlene Hanna; his father-in-law, Sherman Weeks; and his beloved dog, Jaxs.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at the VFW Post 2775 in Orange, Texas from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm. It is located at 5303 N. 16th Street, Orange, TX. 77630.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
