Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 9, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Tim Graham, retired pastor from Junction, Texas, and friend and family of the Welch family. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Bridge City. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Anita Vidrine, 84, of Bridge City, Texas went to her Heavenly home on June 6, 2023. Born in Meeker, Texas on October 21, 1938, she was the daughter of Louisa Doucet and Lorenza Jagneaux.
After being fortunate to be a stay-at-home Mom for several years. Anita hired on with the
Wal Mart in Bridge City and retired 29 years later from the Wal Mart in Orange. She was easily recognized by her hair anywhere in the store and was even chosen to make a commercial for the company.
She was preceded in death by three of her sons, Ronald, Jamie and Mark.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Doug Vidrine and his daughter Brenda Castille (Todd), her sister Berta Mae Kuebodeaux, her children Paul Welch (Juanita) of Colmesneil, and daughters Mary Kay Ermel of Kingwood and Ann Marie Majors of Sundown. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren (Brittany Carter, Cody Welch, Chad Sparks, Brandon Welch, Cassie Farley, Jonas Ermel, and Presley Ermel) 12 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are: Paul Welch, Cody Welch, James Arnett, John Hoffpauir, and Todd Castille
The Honorary Pallbearer is Jonas Ermel.
The family would like to express their gratitude to her wonderful caregivers, Juanita Welch who took care of her day and night, longtime friend Sheryl Brown who was her Home Healthcare nurse and longtime friend, Brenda Castille, and Primary Care Anywhere out of Beaumont.
